On August 2, 2019, Glodon Cubicost new product launch conference cum BIM plus seminar was successfully held in Taichung CBD Times Square. This conference is dedicated to extending the new technologies of BIM, AI and IoT to site safety management and labor safety communication, and applying BIM models in depth at all stages of building lifecycle to improve management efficiency. A total of nearly 100 peers, experts and scholars from across the Taiwan area were invited to conduct exchanges and in-depth discussions on issues such as the application of BIM in Taiwan and the digitalization of Taiwan.

Mr. KONG Chengru, General Manager of Concord Tech Co., Ltd, introduced the application of AIoT in safety management in the construction site. It can integrate the site BIM model and respond to physical and mental health of workers. Supervisors can manage the environmental and labor status in the construction site at any time through portable mobile devices (such as smart phones).

Mr. JHENG Yuren, Product Manager of Concord Tech Co., Ltd, introduced the Cubicost series (TAS, TRB, TME, TBQ), especially the new product TAS C 2019 (Takeoff for Architecture and Structure). The new Cubicost TAS C is designed to achieve greater accuracy, and manage the cost and modeling of construction projects faster, better and easier.

He indicated that the quantity control management is an indispensable part of the construction industry in BIM era. With the IFC certification of Building SMART, Cubicost TAS realizes model viewing in the real time and extraction of quantities on various engineering projects during the construction phase.
