Digital Building and BIM Implementation in Bali, Indonesia

Digital building is currently increasingly in demand by construction industry in Indonesia, both contractors, consultants and owners (project owners). PT. Tunas Jaya Sanur, the pioneer of BIM, commits to the era of digital building, one of which is by making the Gianyar Public Market Development Project as their Pilot Project for implementing digital-based construction. Glodon Indonesia supports the plan by providing the 5D BIM Solution - Cubicost and other technical support for the Gianyar Public Market Development project which is planned to be completed on November 6, 2021. We believe the cooperation will become a very important step to create a digital environment in Bali, further to other provinces.

The Gianyar Public Market Project is the first project in Bali to apply the green building concept with Glodon's BIM technology. With this technology, it will make project work more efficient, precise or accurate and fast. With this energy used in project development to be more efficient.

In the meeting with Shanks Fu, General Manager of Glodon Indonesia (7/9/2020), CEO of PT Tunas Jaya Sanur (Group), I Made Budi Atmika, mentioned the difference between the conventional method and the BIM is that when an estimator uses the old method it will take up to 2 weeks. However, using the digital method, especially with the 5D BIM Cubicost, can reduce the time from 2 weeks to 3 days with a more accurate calculation and supported by visual 3D models.
